Aaron Branch Tacoma Concert reviews
This particular show, however, was a bit too loud for my friend and me. The sound in this small venue was so loud that it literally gave my friend a headache. It was loud like someone scratching their nails on a chalkboard, screechy and scratchy at times. Susan has such a powerful voice, but at times, it seemed there was just too much going on around her for me to really enjoy it. I love this band, so many amazing musicians. Not to say that I didn't love the show, I feel like maybe just bring the sound down a notch and focus the music a bit more. Like it used to be in the previous show at the Orpheum.
